A brilliant way to compete with Excel for non specialist spreadsheet users, a lovely spreadsheet to use.Like other “large language models” such as OpenAI’s GPT, PaLM 2 is a general-purpose AI model, which can be used to power ChatGPT-style chatbots but also translate between languages, write computer code, or even analyse and respond to images. Let me finish by reiterating that overall I think it is pure genius as an app.

Please feel free to shoot me down if I have missed some obvious way to get it to default to a more suitable (for me) default setting. I'm not asking for a new feature I'm asking to improve one that is currently a HORRIBLE user experience. Now I appreciate they have a million things to do at a large company like Apple and there is no reason for them to prioritise my problems, which may impact a small minority of users - but as a trillion dollar company do they not have a team permanently assigned to the task of improving the quality of their software.

I'm a software guy, that doesn't seem like a hard feature to add. But if I use tab separated 3 times in a row could you default to that instead.
Or, if there is a good reason for that that I don't know about - fair enough. Who makes decisions like defaulting to fixed width in this day and age.
